I'm pretty sure my cat's been reading my diary.
I made this for Natalie a few weeks ago, as an early birthday card sort of thing:
So! Stuff. Didn't get the police job, but they apparently liked me so much they've put my name down to offer me any other jobs that come up, before they get advertised? So that's nice. AND TAKES THE DECISION AWAY FROM ME WHILE NOT LEAVING ME FEELING INFERIOR, WOOOO.
Which means I get to continue with uni, which seeing as on the day of my interview, Favourite New Friend sent me a recording of himself singing a bit of "The Dickhead Song" for good luck, is probably what I could have picked to do anyway.
You should probably all watch that video actually, if you havent seen it. IT IS FABULOUS.
I am...competant at uni. Not amazing, not failing. Seeing as I'm one of the only students also working a full time (ish) job and actually entirely self sufficient, I am absolutely fine with that. That said, I have two assignments due next week that I'm nowhere near done with yet, so I should probably...go prepare for that.
Blahblah health, some weird body things happening right now but none actually severe (blood clot is not a blood clot. they don't know what it IS, but it at least ISNT A BLOOD CLOT. that's nice) and I'm all fluey and gross right now, BUT I am going to damn well enjoy the Easter show tomorrow, snot or not. I'm going with Pete AND Nat's family, but not at the same time - I'm just going to zip between the two groups, as they wont want to see all the same things and I want to see ALL of the things.
Also I want to make Pete eat trashy fairground food, bwahahaha.
I just had to interrupt writing this to make sure Chase hadn't dropped ANOTHER LIVE RAT into my room, like he did earlier tonight. My life, people, it is ridiculous.
So many friends of mine are in the US at the moment, on holiday, all seperately. 'S a bit weird.
I can't remember what else I was going to say and my head is full of phlegm. Pete just made me watch "Ninja Cat" on youtube and all I could think of was Dr Who's "Blink". I defy you not to.
